"Presented by Art in Odd Places 2009: SIGN, a festival exploring the odd, ordinary and ingenious in the spectacle everyday life."

Description
A set of interventions in Manhole Covers that offer an opportunity for news views and new experiences in the city.
The aim of these interventions is to make you more aware of the city and it's surroundings. Stickers are placed over the Manholes Covers: one intervention consist in text messages, opening a love relationship between the city and the pedestrian that pass by and the other intervention take a more contemplative intent, where mylar stickers are used to mirror the surroundings and have the pedestrian enjoy it's view. In both interventions the stickers shape take advantage of the manhole covers's patterns in order to bring up it's presence and beauty. This intervention is part of the Enjoy My View project.

This is an ongoing project. During the festival new interventions will be added. Please check the map above to see which interventions are already in place. You can also view the locations of the Interventions in a larger map.
